After our wonderful service on May 17, 2026, we celebrated Nick Runte’s graduation. Nick will be attending The University of Texas in Austin. He will be working towards a Mechanical Engineering degree. We are proud of you Nick!
WELCA
On April 12, 2026, WELCA presented a donation to Texas Ramp Project through a grant from Mission Investment Fund. The presentation was made by members of WELCA and Steve Knox in gratitude for the difference Texas Ramp Project makes through their good works in the lives of those they serve.

God’s Work. Our Hands. 2026
For our Four Mile “2026 God’s Work. Our Hands. Project” the decision has been made that we will once again have a food drive, supporting both Manna and MAGS! Our stated Goal is to bring in 1200 lbs of non-perishable food items. Cash donations are also welcomed. The total of donations collected will be split between these two worthy organizations. While the project runs during the month of September, ending September 30, 2026, you can bring donations starting anytime!
Monetary donations are welcome and just need to be marked for God’s Work, Our Hands. Food donations should be brought to the Parish Hall.
The Charities involved cannot repackage bulk quantities due to health department regulations.
As we have the food items weighed, Heather will be posting our progress each week on a white board at church.
Thank you in advance from the Four Mile Lutheran Church Council and Congregation for blessing those whose needs are great.
God’s Work, Our Hands for 2025 culminated with 1039 lbs of physical food stuff donations. In addition there were cash donations of $550.00. The really remarkable thing about cash donations to food pantries is the buying power these organizations have. Each dollar donated can generate up to 12 lbs of food. Using this figure, the cash donations could equate to 6600 lbs of food bringing the total potential weight to 7,639 lbs.
